2011 PARADE OF HOMES BUILDER CHECKLIST



Thursday, March 31st

• Early Bird Entry fee due ($2,000 for members, $3,000 for non-members)
• Refundable performance deposit due ($1,000 for members and non-members)
• Builder application and signed contract due

Thursday, April 14th

• Entry fee ($2,500 for members, $3,500 for non-members) due
• Refundable performance deposit ($1,000 for members and non-members) due
• Builder application and signed contract due

Thursday, April 28th

• Late entry fee due ($3,000 for members, $4,000 for non-members)
• Refundable performance deposit due ($1,000 for members and non-members)
• Builder application and signed contract due
• Last day to withdrawal from the Parade with a full refund of all monies paid
• Estimated selling price due
• Floor plans and elevations due (must adhere to Ken Piepher’s deadlines)

Friday, July 1st

• Complete Frame Inspection due (If inspection is not complete by this date, Builder will be fined $250 and the home may not be included in the POH magazine.  Committee to make final decision.)
• Deadline for withdrawal from the POH.  Any homes that withdraw after this date shall be subject to a forfeiture of all fees paid including the performance deposit.  
• Final price and text description of home due (see page 7 for details)
• Parade of Homes ad space deadline
• Complete text describing home due
• Last day to withdrawal from the Parade and receive entry fee (must forfeit $1,000 deposit)

Friday, July 8th

• Parade of Homes ad copy deadline

Tuesday, August 30th  

• Required meeting for all builders and/or sales people at 11:00am at the PAHB Office

Friday, September 2nd

• Residential Certificate of Occupancy due (Any home failing to receive said certificate will be fined $1,000 and may not be permitted to be open during the POH, subject to discretion of POH committee)
• Copy of Certificate of Liability Insurance due

Wednesday, September 7th   

• Home open for judging
• Landscaping and decorating complete

Friday, September 9th

• Awards Party at 6:30pm at Rosario’s Restaurant

Friday, September 23rd

• Return money, unused tickets, unused shoe coverings and ticket box to PAHB (failure to return supplies will result in a $100 fine)

These are very strict deadlines and all fines will be assessed at their full amount!
